Just a 5-minute drive from busy Highway 29, our appointment-only tasting room off the stunning Silverado Trail is truly a world away.       The William Hill Estate Experience Tour To really appreciate the special sense of place at William Hill Estate, book your place on this tour to get the full Estate experience. In an intimate, small group setting, you will uncover the history, find out about the terroir, experience what's seasonal in our Estate vineyards, with a seasonal activity, take a deep dive into Chardonnay vineyard and winemaking practices with live aromas and learn about winemaking and barrel aging in our contemporary facility. You will taste an exclusive selection of four wines from our portfolio of Napa Valley, Bench Blend and Estate wines. The tour is by appointment only, for adults aged 21 or over and costs $40 per person. The William Hill Estate Tasting Experience We invite you to soak in the expansive views of the Napa Valley from our Arbor as you taste our portfolio of ultra premium Chardonnay and Cabernet Sauvignon. Or, expand your palate and explore our small production estate wines like Cabernet Franc, Malbec and Petit Verdot in our contemporary tasting room with attentive staff who have a passion for world class wines. The Estate

William Hill Estate is renowned for crafting elegant Chardonnay,

Cabernet Sauvignon, and Merlot wines due to its exceptional location

just off the Silverado Trail in Southern Napa on the Silverado Bench.

 

The Estate was designed with the winemaker in mind - the vineyard is

situated just outside the winery door giving winemaker Ralf Holdenried

the freedom to be involved in every aspect of the winemaking

process. Designed for optimal flexibility, the winery supports Ralf's

approach of selecting vineyard blocks and letting their flavors develop

individually. "The number of tanks and barrels we have in relation to

the grapes on the land means I can make decisions about blending

once the individual lots have had a chance to show their true

potential," explains Ralf.

 

This meticulous approach to crafting sophisticated wines adds layers of

intensity and complexity to the final blend.

Superior quality fruit allows winemaker Ralf Holdenried to craft

traditional Napa Valley varieties - Chardonnay, Cabernet Sauvignon,

and Merlot - into contemporary and sophisticated wines with

exceptional fruit intensity and layers of complexity. .

 

Bench Blend Wines

 

William Hill Estate's Bench Blends are crafted from select blocks within

Napa Valley's finest vineyards and are both elegant and rich,

displaying intense fruit flavors with layers of complexity. This

combination of unique characteristics allows these wines to cellar

gracefully over time..

 

Meritage

Our estate grown Meritage is crafted from select blocks on our bench

land estate vineyard.
