DistillationThe Royal Dirkzwager Distillery maintains its 125 year legacy by handcrafting Van Gogh Vodka in small batches using a variety of grains, which is a combination consisting mainly of wheat, corn and barley. The vodka is distilled twice in column stills and then a third time in a traditional pot still to produce a vodka of the highest refinement. The copper pot still takes "the bite" out of the alcohol, leaving a smooth finish. Unique FeaturesThe Double Espresso vodka is unique in the industry in both its flavor, caffeine content, and color. The Acai-Blueberry and Pomegranate vodkas also have distinctive coloring. RatingsSince its inception, Van Gogh Vodka has continually received high ratings from major critics, including a 94 rating from Wine Enthusiast, and a 5-Star rating, their highest, from The Spirit Journal. BottlesPrized by collectors, Van Gogh Vodka's hand designed bottles are each a unique work of art. Each flavor has a unique design, incorporating the style and themes from Vincent van Gogh's body of work. The printing process allows the viewer to peer into the design, giving a slightly different view with each angle. MartinisVan Gogh Vodka is made with the martini in mind. Van Gogh Vodka's distillation and infusion process creates true, sharp flavors that eliminate the need for sugar-loaded liqueurs. The result is a martini or mixed cocktail that is bolder in taste. Van Gogh Vodka maintains one of the largest recipe databases available for vodka-based martinis available online or in print. New recipes are added by the company mixologist and bartender on a regular basis. External links |
