Danza del Sol Winery

Our Winemaker, Mike Tingley, has thirty years of experience in Temecula Valley wine country.

He is a Professional member of the American Society of Viticulture and Enology. As well as being

an experienced wine judge, his wines have won numerous Gold, Best of Region and Best of

Competition awards over the years.

Mike was guest lecturer in Professor Donald Sutton's "Microbiology for the Food Industry" class at

California State University Fullerton for twenty years. He also teaches the "Winemaking Behind

the Scenes" class for the Business of Wine program at the San Diego State University.

Vision of the Wine

The vision for the Danza del Sol wines, says Mike is, "To craft varietal wines and innovative

blends that not only are delicious, but have an identity.

I'm looking forward to producing wines that cannot be found anywhere else. We would like

to share our passion for our wines and our vineyard, creating memorable experiences for

our customers."

The Winery

Nestled in the rolling hills of the beautiful Temecula Wine Valley, Danza del Sol Winery is a thirty-five acre estate winery located in Southern California's Wine Country. While Danza del Sol's tasting room officially opened in February 2010, the winery itself already has a remarkable history. The estate was previously owned by Dr. William Filsinger and his late wife Katharine who provided Temecula Wine Valley with exceptional wines for nearly 30 years. Twenty-five acres are planted with the following varietals: Gewurztraminer, Sauivignon Blanc, Viognier, Cabernet Sauvignon, Zinfandel, Cab Franc, Tempranillo, Petite Verdot and Merlot. In the wake of Dr. Filsinger's well deserved retirement, the estate was purchased by wine enthusiast Robert Olson.

While we are thrilled to introduce our new Danza del Sol wines, we will continue to support the Filsinger brand wines. Danza del Sol is dedicated to producing premium varietal and proprietary blended wines that are sure to exceed your expectations. It is our goal to deliver a unique range of wines at affordable prices. At Danza del Sol, you are sure to find wines that will meet your preference as we serve an incredible selection of both white and red as well as Methode Champenois champagne.

Meet Our Winemaker

Is this your first time for Temecula tasting? We welcome you to come sample our wines in the tasting room. As part of your tasting fee you will have the option to taste 5 different wines on our tasting list. Our servers enjoy talking with customers about the wines and we encourage you to take notes and please feel free to ask questions. You are welcome to take a copy of the tasting menu on the tasting bar for notes. It is our goal to create a comfortable and relaxing environment so please let us know how we can make your experience memorable.

We are a dog and equestrian friendly winery. All that we ask is that you keep an eye on and clean up after your dog or horse.

Large Group Reservations & Transportation
