America's Brewing Company World Beer Cup and GABF Medal Winning Brewpub

It has been said that America's Brewing Company is the epitome to the American Brewing Tradition; not just creating quality, handcrafted, small-batch brews but creating beers that have won three consecutive Gold Medals at the World Beer Cup Competitions.

In 2000, Payton Pilsner won a Gold Medal as the World's Finest Bohemian Styled Pilsner. Upon receiving his award, Brewmaster Mike Rybinski mentioned that he had wished Walter Payton had been in attendance. Well, this was the World Beer Cup and the majority of the 2,500 people in the room had no idea who Walter was so they offered their condolences to Mike for passing of "his Brewmaster". Connie said Walter would have enjoyed the story. We believe he is enjoying it.

Mike followed in 2002, with a Gold Medal for Payton Pilsner Light, the finest example of a European Styled Low Alcohol Beer. Beck's Light finished second, with a Silver Medal. In 2004, Mike earned his third consecutive Gold Medal for his Bourbon Barrel Imperial Stout. This made America's Brewing Company the first brewery in the history of the World Beer Cup to win three consecutive Gold Medals. In 2006, Mike's string was broken when his Just Call Me George took the Silver Medal in the category of Baltic Porter.

In 2001, Mike received a Gold Medal at the Great American Beer Festival in Denver for his Sweetness Stout - America's Finest Sweet Stout.

You are invited to visit our 7,000 barrel, open air brewery, where you will have the opportunity to watch Brewmaster Mike Rybinski and his staff brew and bottle batches of our award-winning beers.
