Adler Fels Winery was founded in Sonoma Valley in 1979 by David and Ayn Coleman. The winery soon established itself as a producer of award-winning Sauvignon Blanc, Gewürztraminer and Chardonnay from Sonoma County, especially Russian River Valley. Adler Fels later expanded our sourcing to include ultra-premium wine varietals from Napa Valley and other premier appellations throughout California.
David Coleman was a true wine industry pioneer, developing innovations in production that would later become industry standards. David created the first gold foil label to be used on California wine bottles. He is also credited with inventing the adjustable top fermentation tank. In addition, David established the winery's unique program of custom winemaking so our clients could contract bottle their own proprietary wine blends and brands.
Adler Fels is now owned by the Adams Wine Group, a collection of premium wineries and wine-related businesses. The new leadership team is ensuring that the innovative and entrepreneurial tradition first established in 1979 continues at Adler Fels today.

| The Adler Fels label is the winery's flagship brand. Very few white wines from California have garnered the number of awards and accolades bestowed on our Gewürztraminer and Sauvignon Blanc wines. We have sourced the grapes for our Gewurztraminer wine from the same vineyard in the Russian River Valley for over 20 years. These wines are crafted to stay true to the classical varietal characters of each wine. Our Gewürztraminer wine exhibits the elegant combination of floral aromas and sweet, fragrant fruit, while our Sauvignon Blanc wine offers a balanced blend of herbal and mineral notes and citrus flavors. |

| Coastline is the winery's newest brand. California boasts 840 miles of beautiful coastline. The area between Santa Cruz and Santa Barbara is known as the Central Coast. Franciscan Friars first recognized that the fertile valleys and hillsides, cooled by ocean breezes, were ideal for growing premium wine grapes. Our Coastline wines are steeped in this rich tradition of winemaking and deliver well-balanced, premium-quality wines at an amazing value. |
